Last week, Boss Manufacturing attended the 2017 IDC-USA Product Forum in Reno, NV. The week began with the annual IDC Charitable Trust Golf Tournament at Lakeridge Golf Course. Proceeds from the event go to furthering education in young adults. There were approximately 25 foursomes to participate in the event. Bryan Kubiak from Boss and his team finished 5 under par to clinch 1st Place awards consisting of a trophy, a dry fit polo shirt, and a dozen golf balls!
A supplier trade show was scheduled following the golf tournament. At the show there were 44 preferred suppliers in attendance, each having their own booth displays. Also attending were sixty IDC owner-distributors. They walked the show floor and were asked to vote on both vendor booth appearance and product presentation in which Boss won the 2017 Best Booth Award!

Robin Danielson, Territory Sales Manager, had the pleasure of visiting long-time customer Kelly Supply last week as they celebrated 100 years in business. Customers were invited to join the company and its employees as they served pulled pork sandwiches, chips, cookies, and lots of appreciation.
Customers check out a variety of Boss® products while enjoying a celebratory lunch at Kelly Supply in Omaha, NE.
With 12 locations throughout the Midwest, Kelly Supply Company caters to industrial, plumbing, and electrical MRO, along with other finished-good needs.
New Boss® endcap displays will be implemented into all 12 Kelly Supply locations.
Later in the afternoon, Robin had a chance to speak with Sales & Marketing Director, Vicki Spahr-Ewin. Vicki explained how proud Kelly Supply is of their rich history and successes, but credits much of this to long-standing customer relations developed and nurtured for the past century. Along with their families —and of course their employees—Kelly Supply has grown to what it is today. Looking towards the future, the company plans to maintain these ongoing relationships while establishing new ones along the way.
“We are happy to be growing our 15 year partnership in each of their 12 locations throughout the Midwest with a full line of Boss Safety Products. Thanks again to Kelly Supply for allowing us to participate, we appreciate your business!”
-Robin Danielson, Territory Sales Manager

In October, Stinger Certified Safety of Oklahoma City held an OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety Training for construction workers, foremen, project managers, job site superintendents, and anyone else in the construction industry. This one-day, 10-hour course teaches workers general awareness on recognizing and preventing hazards on a construction site and is required by some states and/or employers.
During the class, Boss products were used to help demonstrate proper safety and the importance of personal protective equipment (PPE) in the construction industry.
Boss would like to thank Rene Soto, owner at Stinger Certified Safety, for featuring our 1JM770 and also for introducing Boss Gloves to all 300 students.
If you are interested in our #1JM770 glove with gel-padded palm that was used at this training course, please call 800-447-4581 for more information, or click here to view it on our site.

Here at Boss, we like to do things a little different. We might be the oldest glove company in the United States, but we’ve kept our company small and our roots deep. We take pride in long-term partnerships with our customers, and sometimes we just want to tell them “thanks.”
The great people that make up our sales team don’t spend all their time behind a desk making calls— we believe in better relationships than that. Our team is in the field learning about industry needs. We are crossing state lines to shake your hand and ask what we can do better. We are learning from you, growing from you, and sustaining a strong company because of you.
